The University of Sheffield is seeking to appoint an experienced and highly skilled individual to join our team as Head of Admissions. This is an excellent opportunity for an admissions professional to provide leadership to the Admissions Service to deliver an outstanding applicant experience, in support of the University’s Learning and Teaching Strategy. You will be committed to customer service and have experience of managing a large volume of applications (each year the University receives c 60,000).

You will be joining the team at a time of change, both within the University and the wider Higher Education sector. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the successful implementation of our new student system, and in ensuring the University meets its ambitious recruitment targets.

We’re one of the best not-for-profit organisations to work for in the UK. The University’s Total Reward Package includes a competitive salary, a generous Pension Scheme and annual leave entitlement, as well as access to a range of learning and development courses to support your personal and professional development.

We build teams of people from different heritages and lifestyles whose talent and contributions complement each other to greatest effect. We believe diversity in all its forms delivers greater impact through research, teaching and student experience.
