Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Immunology

A postdoctoral immunology fellowship position is available to join Prof Padraic Fallon’s Translational Immunology Research group in Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. The group is involved in research on the immunology of human diseases undertaken studies using clinical samples as well as animal models. The fellow will based in the Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute, Trinity College Dublin. Research will be on innate and adaptive immune regulation during inflammatory diseases using mouse transgenic models as well as clinical samples. Fellows will have opportunities to work independently within a multi-disciplinary research environment with specialized training also provided in laboratories of international collaborators.

Applicants will be highly motivated, hold a PhD in immunology or related field, and have a research record with publications appropriate to career stage. Applicants should have proficiency in inflammatory mouse models of disease, including transgenics, flow cytometry, tissue culture and molecular biology. Experience on working with clinical samples is desirable. Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
