Researcher

Goldsmiths, University of London - Visual Cultures

Forensic Architecture is a research agency based at Goldsmiths, University of London. We undertake research that models and maps sites of violence within the framework of international humanitarian law and human rights.

Conducted by a multidisciplinary team of architects, artists, filmmakers, activists, and theorists, our investigations provide evidence for international prosecution teams, political organisations, NGOs - such as Amnesty International and MSF - and the United Nations. Our work is also often the subject of international exhibitions and reviews.

We’re looking to hire an architectural researcher with a strong conceptual inclination and technical skills. You will be joining a small team of researchers based at the Goldsmiths campus in New Cross, London who are working on a frontier research project that mobilises architecture to bear upon violations of human rights, analysing complex historical and current political events through the development of new research tools.
