You will be an inspiring leader who can provide an outstanding student experience, develop external partnerships and promote research in the Department. You will lead the delivery of a growth plan and future ambition of the Department, which includes increase of student numbers and an expansion of the teaching and research portfolio as well as high levels of student retention and graduate employment.

Educated to first degree standard in an engineering, computing, construction or closely related subject, you will also have a doctorate or comparable professional experience in a relevant discipline with credible professional experience and/or research publications. With excellent communication, innovation and change management skills, you will have the ability to develop policy, initiate organisational change and deliver the organisation's vision for the future.
