The School of Health and Human Sciences are looking to recruit a Lecturer in Nursing due to the successful expansion of the School.

The key duties of the role-holder will be to contribute to the teaching and delivery of Adult Nursing programmes, undergraduate and taught postgraduate nursing and related programmes, including the academic and personal support of students are also key requirements. In addition to contribute to the student recruitment and admissions of the Adult Nursing Programme. 

NMC registration is an essential requirement for this role along with a first degree and preferably a teaching qualification. We are particularly interested in candidates with a contemporary experience in nursing.  A commitment to undertaking a PhD and membership of the Higher Education Academy is a requirement of the post.

The successful candidate should demonstrate a practical awareness of current developments in Nurse Education and as well as being able to facilitate the creation and maintenance of a range of links between courses and the health care sector.

Candidates invited to interview will be required to demonstrate through a presentation how they would plan a teaching session for nursing students on the importance of professionalism in the nursing role.
