Part-time Personal Assistant

Applications are invited for the part-time post of Personal Assistant (30 hours per week, although a minimum of 25 hours would also be considered) with a preference that the hours are worked over 4 days. You will provide assistance and support to Associate Professors Ed Juszczak and Oliver Rivero-Arias. The post is funded by Departmental funds until 31 December 2018 and is based in the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit within the Nuffield Department of Population Health at the University of Oxford Old Road Campus.

We are looking for a responsible and efficient person who will enjoy a variety of demanding tasks as well as routine duties. You will be part of a busy, friendly and lively team and it is unlikely that any two days will be the same. Being able to prioritise an interesting and diverse workload is essential.

Responsibilities for this post include routine secretarial duties such as producing meeting minutes, producing and proofreading documents, travel and diary arrangements, plus organising meetings and events. The postholder must have a professional outlook and presentation, excellent communication skills and good attention to detail.
