The Department of Allied Health Professions currently runs a full time HCPC validated/ SCoR accredited BSc. (Hons) Diagnostic Imaging programme and a range of related undergraduate, postgraduate and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes. Postgraduate provision in the radiography department includes an MSc. Nuclear Medicine (distance learning delivery), MSc. Ultrasound and a suite of CPD masters level modules including computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging.

The Department is seeking a suitably experienced radiographer who can demonstrate particular experience in nuclear medicine and/or diagnostic imaging. An ability to demonstrate previous university and/or practice based educational experience is also required.

Responsibilities will include teaching and marking, module leadership, an academic and personal tutor role, research support for undergraduate students, clinical visiting, and being part of the radiography team in curriculum development and quality monitoring. Input to the B.Sc. (Hons) Diagnostic Imaging and CPD modules will be expected.

You will have sound experience in a range of nuclear medicine and/ or cross-sectional imaging clinical settings as well as experience of working within an interdisciplinary team. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to close team working. A Master’s degree would be an advantage; however applicants with evidence of study at post graduate level, university teaching and/or practice education within radiography would be positively considered. 

You will need to be registered with the HCPC as a radiographer. 

This post requires an enhanced DBS clearance.
