Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a Post-Doctoral Research Associate to work on two EU Horizon 2020 projects – IMAJINE (Integrative Mechanisms for Addressing Spatial Justice and Territorial Inequalities in Europe) and ROBUST (Rural-Urban Outlooks: Unlocking Synergies). The successful candidate will be based in the Department of Geography and Earth Sciences at Aberystwyth University and will contribute to several work packages across the projects, with a particular emphasis on policy analysis, migration, rural-urban interactions, and participatory scenario building.

You will be working with Professor Michael Woods, Professor Rhys Jones and Dr Rhys Dafydd Jones on IMAJINE, and with Professor Michael Woods and Dr Jesse Heley on ROBUST. The post-holder will be responsible for data collection and analysis, as well as for planning participatory research and stakeholder engagement, and contributing to the broader development, delivery and dissemination of the research.

This full-time post is for a fixed-term period of 36 months from 1st October 2017 (or as soon as possible thereafter).
