East End Computing & Business College

East End Computing & Business College is a QAA reviewed alternative provider of higher education in the heart of historic East End of London. It delivers BIS designated Pearson BTEC Higher national Diplomas to UK/EU students. To deal with its expanding students’ population, it urgently requires an efficient administrative manager to oversee students’ attendance, reception, and admission procedures of the college.

This job responsibilities will include providing and maintaining high quality administration support to students’, teachers and senior management team regarding admission, students’ database records, attendance and punctuality, feedback surveys, NSS, complaints and appeals, prevent duty and other related matters in order to ensure best students’ experience in the college.  The post holder will report to CEO and Principal of the college.

Knowledge and Experience Required


  1. Educated with at least a UK Bachelor Degree in relevant discipline.
  2. At least two years’ experience in managing Students’ recruitment process, Students induction, Timetabling, attendance and punctuality, student’s queries and problem solving,  in a similar further/higher education college.
  3. Supporting the Senior Management Team and Principal in relevant administrative issues of the college.
  4. Taking leading role in students attendance management, complaints and appeal handling, Prevent Duty reporting, students feedback surveys, health & safety matters, risk assessment, external regulators’ queries and NSS
  5. Experience in creating and updating students’ database.
  6. Experience in creating and updating policy documents for similar organisation
  7. Excellent IT skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database.
  8. Good collaborative team skills and ability to work in a team of people from different units.


  1. .Membership in a relevant professional body in the UK.


Salary will be in the range of £25,000 to £30,000 (Gross) per year commensurate with qualification, experience and skills.
