About the opportunity

We are currently seeking applications from accomplished academic leaders for the position of Dean, Faculty of Science, where you will drive the achievement of Faculty of Science strategy and goals. 

The successful candidate will be an inspiring academic leader with a proven record in a world-leading environment.
They will have experience, at scale, in driving the direction of the Faculty, alongside leading a positive, high-achieving and inclusive culture with shared values. They will bring an outstanding personal research record in Science and a proven collaborative approach to their management and leadership of talented staff and students. 

They will be adept at balancing strategic vision with management rigour in order to ensure that the Faculty uses its full capacity to address the major challenges of the 21st century; including through the outstanding capabilities of its graduates as a key measure of success.

Term and remuneration
The initial appointment will be for 5 years with the opportunity for renewal subject to assessment of performance.
The successful candidate will be offered an attractive remuneration package, and will also hold the title of Professor.
