Associate/ Full Professor in British Literature

The Department of English Language and Literature at Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey, invites applications at the associate / full professor level.

Requirements for the position include a strong publications record and a demonstrable contribution to the field as well as leadership qualities.  The candidate should hold the title of associate / full professor in her/his present institution.  We welcome applications from all subfields of English literature.  The starting date for this post is September 2018. 

The English Language and Literature Department currently offers an undergraduate program that covers British, Irish, and postcolonial literature and ranges from the medieval period to the present day. The course load is a 3-3.

Bilkent University, located in suburban Ankara, is a non-profit foundation university supported by its own endowment.
