Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Psychology (0.4 FTE)

The Institute of Sports and Human Science, Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing, University of Wolverhampton is pleased to announce that seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experience person to contribute to our Undergraduate and Postgraduate provision in the field of psychology. This is a two year appointment will be made on a part time basis of 0.4 FTE.

You should have an excellent knowledge of research methods and evidence of strong research outputs. The Institute of Psychology is a motivated and ambitious team and are keen to add to our established and growing research portfolio. A research specialism in any area of psychology will be considered, but applicants with a focus on Developmental, Cognitive or Forensic Psychology, are especially welcome.

You will also be expected to supervise research projects and act as a personal tutor for students as well as engaging in scholarly activity and other duties commensurate with the role. There is also an opportunity to become part of our programmes management team for a suitably qualified and experienced applicant.

It is expected that you will undertake the University's Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education if you do not already possess a teaching qualification in higher education or are eligible to seek membership of the Higher Education Academy.
