Post Doctoral Teaching Associate (PDTA)

Applications are invited the fixed-term post of Post-Doctoral Teaching Associate in the Department of Psychology, Royal Holloway, University of London. This is a full time and runs from 8 January 2018 for a duration of three years. The post holder will engage in teaching, supervision, and administration across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in clinical psychology, although applications from candidates with a background in social, forensic, or developmental psychology will also be considered.

The successful applicant should hold a PhD, have experience of conducting high quality psychological research, and have the ability to make strong contributions to our taught programmes at UG and PGT levels. They should be enthusiastic about delivering effective high-quality teaching.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic and supportive environment, in an internationally recognized department that has a consistently excellent record for the highest quality teaching. The Department has excellent facilities for undertaking research in a broad range of areas, with state-of-the-art facilities available, such as MRI, EEG, TMS, eye trackers, cognitive behavioural testing suites, social, clinical, and infant observation labs. The department also has strong links with external organisations including hospitals, schools, and government, industrial, and charity organisations. The College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus that is close to both Central London and Heathrow Airport.
