Lecturer in Geography

The Department of Geography wishes to appoint a lecturer to teach on human geography-related modules, specifically to work within the context of human geography teaching closely aligned with environmental and interdisciplinary social science programmes of study.

You must have a PhD or equivalent, in Geography or a cognate discipline. You will build on your proven successful teaching experience in higher education, and demonstrate an understanding of our approach of supported open, distance and online learning.

You will also be a researcher who is able to contribute to future REF exercises, and to help build on the Department’s excellent REF2014 results. The successful candidate will complement our existing research strengths, and be able to demonstrate they are on track to have the required number of outputs for REF 2021 inclusion.
