Fixed-term for 36 months

Are you interested in working for a world top 100 University? We are looking for a postdoc with demonstrated skills in computing, to develop an exciting suite of programs and web servers for validation of NMR structures, to be used by a wide range of structural biologists. You will join the high-profile interdisciplinary team of Prof Mike Williamson in the internationally excellent academic department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. You will be the local computing expert, interacting with experimental scientists and mathematicians (including collaborators in Japan), and will be expected to develop a close collaboration with major structural databases. You will have a relevant PhD (e.g. in computer science or engineering) or equivalent experience, demonstrated technical expertise in computing, good mathematical ability, a passion to communicate, a desire to learn new skills, and the ambition to make a real contribution to structural biology.
