NEACO County Coordinator

University of East Anglia - Recruitment and Outreach Department

The Network for East Anglian Collaborative Outreach (NEACO) programme is part of the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP) which aims to raise progression to HE for target students from across East Anglia. We are seeking a self-motivated team player to manage a team of Higher Education Champions and deliver our NEACO strategy. The post holder must be able to supervise and motivate staff and promote best practice.

Candidates must have:

  • excellent organisational skills, to work to multiple priorities and tight deadlines
  • the ability to work flexibly, use initiative and resolve problems
  • excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • a keen interest in promoting and broadening access to higher education

You must have two A levels at Grades A-E and five GCSEs at Grades A-C (including Mathematics and English), or equivalent qualifications.

This appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.

The post is available from 17 November 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter on a full-time, fixed term period until December 2018. There may be potential for extension to 31 December 2020 depending on the progression of the project.

The University is a Bronze Athena Swan Award holder, currently working towards Silver.
