UKCBC is a well-established education provider offering higher education qualifications across six London campuses. With specialisms in Business, Travel & Tourism, Computing & Systems, and Health & Social Care, we endeavour to continuously develop our academic provision and offering an accessible progression pathways for students wishing to study in a flexible setting. In keeping with that vision, we have established a partnership with Bath Spa University which enables us to deliver top-up degree programmes from September 2017.  The portfolio of programmes will be expanded during 2018.

We are seeking an Academic Director to manage the teaching, learning and delivery of these new university undergraduate programmes.  The post holder will take a lead role in the College’s relationship with Bath Spa University, co-ordinating with the link tutors and external examiners to oversee delivery of three and four year degree programmes, as well as ensuring support to the students pursuing the university programmes.  

The successful candidate will have experience of operating within an HEI or within an alternative HE provider. Ideally, they will bring experience of partnership working to successfully deliver undergraduate programmes, as well as exposure to key stakeholders such as QAA, employers, and HEFCE.  Leading on our undergraduate academic development, the Academic Dean will oversee the staff, processes, quality, teaching and learning to ensure a distinctive and rewarding student experience.
