The University is now seeking to appoint a Director of London Met Global Online who will create a cohesive university strategy and approach to online distance learning and teaching across the University, and who will inspire and motivate academic colleagues to embrace online delivery by providing expert advice and business partnering to help define unique and tailored courses which highlight the strengths of the University’s School and meet market demands. The appointed individual will undertake market evaluation and benchmarking exercises to ensure continuous improvement and commitment to best practice, and through their leadership of the directorate contribute to income growth through increases in student numbers.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a sound understanding of the pedagogic methods of online course delivery and a working knowledge of the associated technological aspects. You will have some experience of working in the Higher Education context, or a demonstrated ability to engage across a complex landscape of stakeholders in multiple business verticals, and the communication skills to effectively liaise between academic and commercial partners. You will demonstrate an ability to influence and engender confidence from diverse groups of people, and will have a strong alignment with the mission and values of the University.
