2 x Full Time Posts: 36.25 hours per week

(1 x permanent, 1x fixed-term contract until 31st July 2018)

The School of Film, Media and Performing Arts is looking to appoint two lecturers/senior lecturers to its BA (Hons) Film Production course. Due to increased demand, UCA is seeking to recruit two exceptionally motivated, qualified and experienced moving image practitioners to join our renowned Film Production course team. The successful candidates will have experience of teaching at HE level and will have extensive subject knowledge and professional experience.

You will have a good honours degree, academic experience at HE level and a record of accomplishment in research or professional practice. Candidates will also need to demonstrate success in the development of the subject in an educational setting. To complement our current staffing we encourage applications from candidates who are good all-rounders or who have specific experience in one of the following areas: producing, production design, screenwriting, editing or cinematography.

Applicants should be demonstrably familiar with contemporary educational issues, be a team player and able to inspire and motivate students. They will be responsible for a range of duties including teaching, year coordination, overseeing timetabling, pastoral care and the student experience.
