The post will be for 2 days (or 4 half days) a week and is a maternity cover for 1 year. You will be a key member of a small team which is responsible for the administration of alumni activities for the Oxford Medical Alumni (OMA) and will be involved in all aspects of the running of OMA, under the supervision of the Alumni Relations Manager. The main focus of your work will be the management of OMA events and the maintenance and updating of the OMA database. Whilst you will have your own areas of responsibility you will also be expected to cover other aspects of the team’s role as and when required. The work can be intensive at times, but is interesting, diverse, rewarding and fun.

We are seeking a strong team player who is prepared to take on responsibility for their own work, who has good organisational and computing skills, and who is able to work systematically and to a high level of accuracy. Applicants should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a proven ability to manage a broad workload in an efficient manner and a flexible approach.

This post would suit someone wishing to gain experience in alumni relations or who wishes to develop existing experience in this field.
