Technician Demonstrator - Landscape Architecture

Part-Time: 29.6 hours per week (0.8 FTE).

The School of Art and Design is a vibrant and rapidly growing element of the University of Gloucestershire. We are looking to recruit a Technical Demonstrator to support the teaching and learning activities within the Landscape Architecture discipline.

The role requires up-to-date detailed knowledge of, and the ability to teach, a wide range of software applications including AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Sketchup. This includes the research, preparation, and delivery of teaching materials.

The post-holder must ensure the delivery of an efficient, effective, and professional service. A commitment to excellent customer service is a key aspect of the role and the post holder is expected to support academic colleagues to develop and maintain good contacts with other University staff, academics, and students, as well as with others as appropriate. 

The post holder is also required to be flexible in his/her approach to duties depending upon patterns of need in teaching, research, and consultancy. Training in the use of specialist equipment/resources will be provided if necessary
