University of Gloucestershire - Communications, Marketing and Student Recruitment (CMSR) Department

The Communications, Marketing and Student Recruitment (CMSR) department is responsible for all aspects of the University’s marketing, UK and international recruitment, admissions, widening participation and outreach and our communications and branding.

The Admissions and Applicant Experience team is a busy, customer-focused environment in which to work incorporating both the admissions and enquires service at the University. An important part of the ethos of our team is that staff work co-operatively across all sections to provide an efficient, culturally sensitive and friendly service to staff, students, applicants of the University and all those with whom we come into contact.

The Admissions team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the rapid turnaround of a high volume of international  and UK/EU undergraduate, postgraduate and research applications. The team is responsible for all aspects of the admissions cycle, including logging applications, making admissions decisions and communicating those decisions to applicants in an efficient and timely manner.

We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated individual to join our team. A good general education, including (as a minimum), GCSE English Language and Mathematics (Grade C or above), or equivalent, will be required. You will have proven recent administrative experience gained from a role within a large complex organization, ideally with experience of working with Higher Education. With a flexible, solutions orientated approach to work and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, you will also have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work using your own initiative.
