Assistant Digital Developer

We are looking for an assistant digital developer to join the Digital Innovation and Research Services team at Lancaster University Library. You will help us build scalable systems that deliver innovative solutions to existing and emerging problems. You will work with us to develop key web based systems, developing advanced skills in a variety of languages and tools. You are also likely to develop skills in Amazon Web Services, Elastic Compute Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes along with using automated tools for checking code quality and managing deployments.

The Digital Innovation and Research Services look after and develop all Library systems, technical infrastructure, online digital services, provide Research Data Management and Open Access support, Digital preservation support alongside innovative and fun projects. We work in an agile fashion where possible and support each other strongly.

This externally-funded post is full time and is available until 30th of December 2018. We would love for you to be part of our team.
