The University of Liverpool is a Russell Group University with a wide variety of academic and non-academic activities. An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced safety professional to join the University’s Health and Safety team. You will be involved in a wide range of activities and must have experience in: Health and safety auditing; preparing and managing fire risk assessments; developing and delivering training courses.

You should have: an honours degree (or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience) in a science, technology, engineering, medical (STEM) or relevant subject; Nebosh Diploma in health and safety; experience working in a large, multi-disciplined organisation; excellent communication skills at all levels. Flexibility in approach and the ability to work with minimal supervision is essential.
