Senior Research Contracts Specialist – Corporate Partnerships (2 Posts)

The University of Oxford is looking to recruit highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join its Research Services office. There are two positions available – one based in Headington, supporting the work of the University’s clinical departments; and the other based in central Oxford supporting the University’s science departments. Both positions are available fixed-term until 31 July 2020.

You will be an important interface with the University’s business development teams and work closely with researchers and their departments to facilitate strategic research collaborations with industry. The role will include reviewing, drafting and negotiating research contracts, many of them complex in nature. You must be able to provide clear and pragmatic advice and make recommendations to academics and other University colleagues after identifying and assessing the relevant risks.

We are seeking individuals who take pride in solving problems and driving multiple projects through to completion in a timely manner. You must be able to manage a large and varied workload, analyse and summarise complex documentation, negotiate effectively and balance the technical challenges of this work effectively in a fast-paced customer service environment.
