Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Active Matter Theory

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Active Matter Theory at the Rudolf Peierls Centre for Theoretical Physics of the University of Oxford, to work in the group of Professor Julia Yeomans FRS and Professor Ramin Golestanian, supported by a grant from Horizon 2020.

The post is available for a fixed-term from November 2017 until October 2018 with possible 6 month extension.

The successful candidate will hold (or be about to complete) a PhD/DPhil in physics or a related subject. He/she is expected to conduct independent research in active matter theory directed at solving problems arising within the project and participate in academic life of the Department of Physics and the Oxford Centre for Soft and Biological Matter.
