Development Coordinator - Medical Sciences

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the country’s most successful higher education fundraising team, and contribute to its current campaign – the largest and most ambitious in Europe, which has a goal of £3bn.

We’re looking for a highly versatile and motivated team player to join the Medical Sciences Development team in this key administration role. Flexible, adaptable and able to respond to changing priorities, you will provide vital administrative support to the Head of Development and other team fundraisers in areas such as research, proposals, event management, gift administration and prospect management. Your role will also encompass tasks such as drafting correspondence, database entry, taking minutes at meetings, helping with travel arrangements and ad hoc projects.

Strong administrative and systems skills, attention to detail and an ability to multi-task and manage a varied workload are pivotal to the success of this role. You will have similar work experience and be used to working with a number of stakeholders: for this role, this will include supporters and volunteers of the University as well as senior academics. With excellent communication skills, a flair for organisation and capable of acting on your own initiative, you will play a key role in a busy team. Experience of Microsoft Office and CRM systems is vital.
