Masterclasses and Enrichment Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a full-time appointment in the Division of Marketing, Recruitment, Admissions and Communications, working in UK/EU Student Recruitment.

The post holder will be responsible for coordinating the logistical management of the Taster Lectures and Residential Masterclasses programme and will workunder the overall direction of the Head of UK/EU Student Recruitment to ensure that the relevant targets relating to the institutions Student Recruitment Strategy and Access Agreement targets are met.

The post holder will provide full management support to Masterclass and Enrichment Officer including overseeing his/her work schedule and performance management. The Taster Lectures and Residential Masterclasses are high profile recruitment and widening participation events for post 16 school/college students. The post holder will lead on developing and maintaining strong and successful relationships with key academic colleagues to ensure the subject-specific Taster Lectures/Masterclass series are a success and are delivered to the target number of departments across faculties, as directed by the Head of UK/EU Student Recruitment Department.

The post holder will also work closely with the Widening Participation and Outreach Department to ensure that the correct targeting of participants and that accurate data is collected, maintained, and evaluated on in line with Access Agreement Guidelines and the Widening Participation and Outreach Strategy.

With relevant professional knowledge and previous experience in project management, the successful candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, and will be able to demonstrate a strong ability to communicate with, and obtain buy in from, a variety of different audiences.

Travel/weekend/evening work is likely to be required as directed.

Interviews are planned to take place in the week commencing 30 October.
