KTP Associate - Data Scientist (80772-087)

Fixed term contract for 30 months.

You will undertake research on a collaborative InnovateUK KTP Project, which is between the University of Warwick and RANPLAN, a start-up company in Cambridge. As the data scientist KTP associate, you will be employed by Warwick and based largely at the company.

Your role is to assist the Principal Investigator and project partners in the successful execution of the project. You will undertake independent and collaborative research and product development, and will be expected to write up your research for publication. You will be expected to deal with any management/administration problems that may arise from the project and produce and present regular project reports ensuring that the project objectives and deadlines are met.

You will have a developing research profile with the ability to publish high quality research output and will be able to contribute to the development of funding proposals and commercial product development.

You will have excellent programming skills including Python, C, or C# with a focus in natural language processing and machine learning. You will require general IT skills including demonstrable ability to write technical research papers and presentations. You are also required to be an excellent communicator with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
