The School of Health, Sport and Bioscience has recently developed an innovative B.Sc Adult Nursing programme in partnership with two local NHS organisations, and we are now looking for a dynamic nurse educator to join the team to help develop and deliver this exciting new course.

A commitment to providing a quality learning experience for students through partnership working with NHS stakeholders is essential.

The successful candidate will be educated to Masters level or above, hold a current NMC registration in adult nursing with recent clinical practice, and have experience of teaching within a higher education setting and supporting practice based learning.

Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential to ensure collaborative working with students and colleagues within the university and in clinical placement environments. The post holder will be expected to develop and deliver high quality learning materials and resources which are relevant and evidence based. In addition, as a member of the academic team, this individual will contribute to the research and scholarly profile of the school.
