The University of Hertfordshire is one of the world’s top new universities with an international reputation.

We are looking for a new Education Liaison Advisor to join our busy and dynamic Marketing team. You need to be enthusiastic, confident and full of energy and able to relate to and communicate with pupils in schools, parents, teachers and careers advisors.

About the role:

Reporting to a Marketing and Recruitment Manager, the Education Liaison Advisors will be responsible for independently planning and delivering UK student recruitment activities with a view to attract and encourage applications to the University. The successful candidates will be working with academics and as well as colleagues across Marketing and Communications to develop and implement activities and events that will engage prospective students, parents, school and college staff.

You will also be responsible for data gathering, analysis and report on activities and competitor research with a view to improving and maintaining the University’s position. You will be required to work flexibly on and off campus, to deliver workshops, presentations and represent the University at Higher Education Fairs and Conventions, open days and other recruitment events to provide information, advice and guidance about higher education and what it is like to study at the University of Hertfordshire. Some of the events will be in the evenings and weekends and across the UK.

About you:

The successful candidate will preferably have prior educational advisory/student recruitment experience and knowledge of the UK education sector. You must have excellent communication and presentation skills, the ability to establish effective relationships with schools, colleges, colleagues and a wide range of stakeholders as well as being a good team player.
