Post Title: HR Information Systems Coordinator

We are seeking an HRIS Coordinator to join our Reward Team.  This role will support all HR reporting requirements and information systems, including Northgate’s ResourceLink HR and pay system. The role will assist in providing service for all HRIS, Reward, Freedom of Information and HR reporting queries, supporting the University’s core reporting requirements and interfacing with the wider HR function to ensure utilisation of all HR systems are optimised.

Core responsibilities will be:

  • Daily monitoring of the HRIS team inbox and providing timely client responses to all HR Information queries
  • Producing reports and HR Analytics as and when requested by the Reward Manager or the HR Information Systems Administrator or key stakeholders and clients across the University
  • Updating the HR website using the content management system
  • Support the HR Information Systems Administrator and work with ITS implementing new system upgrades, modules versions etc.
  • Assisting the Reward Team on projects such as Gender Pay Gap Reporting, HESA reporting, market salary surveys and HR KPI benchmarking surveys
  • Monitoring the ResourceLink automated tasks and helping to resolve issues
  • Pro-actively identifying, resolving and improving HR data quality issues
  • Effectively liaising with the Payroll and Pensions teams to ensure data and system accuracy and on relevant cross-functional projects

This is a fantastic opportunity for either a current HRIS Assistant/Coordinator or a technically-oriented HR Assistant/Coordinator to specialise in HRIS to support the University’s Reward Strategy. You will have worked within an HR team in a similar role previously and have the following experience and skills:

  • Experience working in an HRIS environment or team is highly desirable
  • Must have demonstrable solid experience using a large HRIS system (SAP, ADP, PeopleSoft, WorkDay or ResourceLink etc)
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and data manipulation abilities essential
  • Must have previous HR a support or demonstrable HR functional development capacity
  • Must have at least a basic Human Resources/Employment Law understanding (Data Protection, Employment Contracts, Compensation etc)
  • Experience in system upgrades and implementing new modules in HRIS
  • Strong and proven maths, database and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
