We have an exciting opportunity to join the Strategic Planning team to take on a range of data quality and BI responsibilities. You will use knowledge of SITS, QlikView and student data together with SQL to specify and provide data quality exception reporting to help Registry and Strategic Planning improve student data quality in a timely and resource efficient manner.

You will use knowledge and technical skills to provide expert input to preparations for the start of new HESA student data collections processes beginning in the Autumn 2019. You will use project management skills to lead preparations of student data for returns in accordance with returns requirements. You will bring with you a track record of co-ordinating the work of colleagues through training and joint working to share data with stakeholders.

This role will require enthusiasm and flexibility to learn the range of our student data sources and business processes in order to solve problems and improve both data quality and business intelligence.

Educated to degree level, you will have an understanding of the impact of data on an institution, excellent IT skills and an interest in higher education policy. You will be enthusiastic about working for an organisation that is striving to improve the student experience and ensure successful outcomes for them. You will also demonstrate project management.
