An opportunity has arisen for a Semi-Skilled Building Maintenance Operative based on the Streatham Campus. This position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to join a small team of operatives supplying a high level of service. This new full-time post is available immediately on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Direct Works Team Leader, you will be a member of the operational team working alongside other maintenance operatives in the Electrical & Mechanical/Building & Structural Services. Estate Services is responsible for the planning, safety, provision, adaptation and maintenance of buildings and associated services and for the development and maintenance of the University’s estate.

We are looking for a customer focused team player who can work alone or in a team and be able to use initiative to prioritise work demands and meet deadlines. Having prior experience or qualifications in Structural Works would be advantageous, you will have a starter/finisher mentality and methodical approach to work, as well as an understanding of all relevant health and safety legislation that accompanies these tasks.
