Senior Library Assistant

University of Cambridge - Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages Library

The Modern and Medieval Languages (MML) Library is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our dedicated and professional Library team for a fixed term. You will be responsible for the French and Italian collections in the Library and you will liaise with the relevant academic departments to provide support for the teaching courses run by the Faculty. To be considered for this role, you should demonstrate an adaptable and flexible approach to delivering a user-focused service, with a creative and innovative approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential and you should enjoy working in a small, friendly team. Excellent IT skills are also essential for this post; an enquiring mind with respect to technical developments will be an advantage.
