Fixed term contract for 2 years.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a position within the University of Warwick's central print room. Warwick Print is part of the University of Warwick and is responsible for the print & design requirements for both the University and other local businesses.

This apprenticeship will enable the candidate to gain a digital print qualification and experience in a demanding print and finishing environment. This is a manufacturing position and would start with digital print output; operating a range of machinery, preparing files to print, operating the press and ensuring quality printing is maintained.

The right person would also become involved in print finishing; operating a range of machinery to guillotine, fold, saddle stitch, perfect bind, library bind, traditional bind, drill, collate, shrink wrap etc... It is the intention that the role would be fixed term for 12 months for the candidate to complete NVQ Level 2 with a further 12 months fro the completion of level 3.
