Warwick Clinical Trials Unit at CSRL wishes to appoint an experienced Clinical Trial Coordinator to manage The Big Baby trial. This recently funded HTA trial will investigate the potential benefits and harms of early induction of labour in large for gestational age fetuses. It will be a large multi-centre randomised controlled trial which will run in 60 centres across the UK with the aim to recruit 4000 participants. Recruitment will commence in May 2018.

You will work closely with the Chief Investigator, Professor Siobhan Quenby based at CSRL, Coventry and Co-CI Professor Jason Gardosi based at the Perinatal Institute in Birmingham. As the principal trial coordinator, you will lead a team of 2 other trial coordinators and a trial administrator. You will also work closely with clinical experts from the CSRL, UHCW, University of Warwick, the Perinatal Institute and national specialists in feto-maternal medicine.

You will be an accomplished team worker, with proven leadership experience and excellent project management, communication and IT skills. You will have a sound knowledge of ICH GCP. You will manage this trial to ensure that it delivers high quality data on time and to budget. Travel within the UK is an essential part of this role.
