An outstanding and ambitious individual is required to help expand our activities on the design of antennas and associated electronics for the Square Kilometre Array Radio Telescope (www.skatelescope.org) within the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

The SKA will be the world’s largest radio telescope. The research team is an internationally based consortium of 52 institutes. The School of EEE at Manchester is working on the research into potential new technologies for achieving wideband phased array antennas for potential use in the SKA.
