Study Abroad Coordinator

Salary: £23,557 (pro rata)

Grade: UH5 point 19 (pro rata)

FTE: 0.5 FTE (part-time, 18.5 hours per week)

Duration of Contract: Fixed term, 12 months

We are looking for a motivated and proactive team member to take responsibility for administrative activities related to student and staff mobility overseas, including the Erasmus programme. Based within the European and Study Abroad Office, the provision of this central service will need you to bring a willingness to be flexible in time and in workload to support effective team working. It requires active engagement with students and staff in the promotion of exchange opportunities.

The role requires excellent communications skills in working effectively with key individuals internally and externally, as well as maintaining computerised and manual records. You will have proven administrative experience, good organisational and IT skills, and the ability to use initiative and a flexible approach in delivering to deadline. The role requires planned evening and weekend attendance to cover events such as Open Days, and experience in marketing and promotion activities would be an advantage.

Qualifications: Educated to A-level or to an equivalent standard, or proven professional work experience.
