Senior Lecturer in Sports Development/Business

FTE: This is a full time position working 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE)

The School of Life and Medical Sciences at the University of Hertfordshire is seeking to appoint a full time permanent Senior Lecturer to contribute to the new undergraduate degree programmes in Sports Business Management, Sports Coaching, Sports Development, and/or Sports Studies which will be recruiting from October 2018. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team which is in the process of significantly expanding its degree provision, with a planned move to new facilities at the University’s state-of-the-art Hertfordshire Sports Village. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their career by contributing to the School’s research and commercial/consultancy programme and/or to the development and administration of undergraduate and postgraduate courses within their area of expertise.

Applications will be welcomed from those with previous academic lecturing experience and a subject specialism in Sports Development and/or Sports Business. Previous employment in a sports development/business role would be advantageous.
