About the role

You will play an important role in analysing BBSRC’s researchfish data, reporting against it effectively and developing the evidence base to inform decision making. You will also contribute to BBSRC’s annual performance reporting cycle, including coordination of the quarterly Chief Executive’s report to Council and input to the BBSRC Annual Report.

You will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge/previous relevant experience and in interest in the aims and objectives of BBSRC.

You will need to demonstrate excellent analytical skills and experience of working with large datasets. Strong organisational and team working skills will be essential, as will an ability to progress multiple work streams at the same time, prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines.

Working experience of SQL and VBA would be an advantage, although candidates without this experience will be considered provided they are willing to undertake training to develop their skills in these areas.
