Teaching and Design Engineer (Instrumentation)

We are seeking a permanent motivated and highly-skilled Instrumentation Engineer to join the Teaching, Design and Support Group (TDSG) at the Department of Engineering Science (central Oxford). 

The person appointed will be responsible for developing new undergraduate courseware and laboratory exercises to teach programming skills and instrumentation. You will contribute to organising undergraduate laboratories, the Department’s open days and other outreach events, and provide technical support for undergraduate projects.

You should possess a good degree in engineering or equivalent and a high level of expertise in MATLAB, SIMULINK and use of instrumentation. Experience of teaching at university level or equivalent and an enthusiasm for teaching and motivating students. Experience in designing courseware and/or laboratories that use MATLAB is also desirable.
