Research Assistant in Thermal Analysis Modelling Adopting Agent Based Modelling

The Faculty of Engineering & Technology seeks to appoint a Research Assistant in Civil Engineering with the knowledge of thermal analysis modelling and energy management. The project will look at the energy performance of manufacturing facilities to gain a better understanding of the heat gain from different equipment.

You should have a knowledge of how to assess the energy performance of buildings/facilities. You will be involved in building the relationship between business-university collaborations. Key to this role will be previous academic research in the energy sector. Furthermore, you should have knowledge regarding sensors and energy modelling. In addition, you will also be involved in teaching on different course relating to energy management.
