0.82 FTE for with a variable working pattern to support the peaks in our business.

Working full-time (36.5 hours) for 35 weeks and part-time (17 hours) for 17 weeks.

The successful applicant will be required to work full-time (36.5 hours) during the summer months which is a busy period for the team, and at other times to be decided.

This post is based with the Resource Acquisitions & Digital Access (RADA) team of the Client Services Division. The RADA team’s tasks are generally office based and will include mainly but not exclusively the ordering, receipting and processing of stock for circulation and management of the University’s Reading Lists.

You will provide an effective and efficient service support across all Library operations and departments to ensure the Library offers consistent, high-quality, customer-oriented services to its users in support of the University’s teaching, learning and research agenda.

You will be numerate and literate with good IT skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office packages. You should have the ability to read and follow class marks on library items and to work accurately with attention to detail. You will take a calm and flexible approach and have the ability to work well under pressure. A positive approach to customer service is essential.
