The Faculty Research Support Office (FRSO) aims to provide comprehensive support for research and scholarship across the disciplines and specialties of the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing. The office is the hub of research administration and practical support as well as providing access to methodological, statistical and information science expertise.

This post focuses on health and social care research and is divided into two parts. You will be a member of the FRSO working with senior researchers and administrators who support the research and scholarship of the staff in the faculty departments. You will also work as a member of one of our research groups to develop more advanced research skills and your programme of research as an independent researcher.

You must have knowledge of research ethics in health and social care including NHS processes and have experience of report writing and publication, including conference papers, journal papers and client reports.

A criminal record will not necessarily prevent you from working at Sheffield Hallam University but its relevance to the duties of the post will need to be assessed before the appointment is confirmed.
