Human Performance, Exercise and Well-being Technical Support Officer

Buckinghamshire New University - Faculty of Society and Health

Fixed term contract to 31st July 2018.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Support Officer to join our growing team within the Centre for Human Performance, Exercise, & Wellbeing. The Faculty has experienced strong growth across a range of sport and exercise science and sports therapy disciplines and a Technical Support Officer is required to support teaching activities.

In 2015, the University invested in new state-of-the art facilities including an integrated Human Performance Laboratory, a three-lane running track with motion capture technology and strength and conditioning facilities. The location of the University is close to world-class sports and health organisations such as Bisham Abbey and Buckinghamshire NHS Health Care Trust (home to Stoke Mandeville’s National Centre of Spinal Injuries). We enjoy close working relationships with many sports organisations in the region at both community and elite levels.

Supported by senior staff, you will provide essential technical support and operational coordination in the Human Performance Laboratory/sports therapy facilities.
