The University of Wolverhampton has a long and successful history of providing opportunities and academic excellence for over 180 years. We have recently invested over £125 to ensure our facilities for students and staff are world class. Developments include an £18m new Business School, a £21m new Science Centre and a £100m new super campus for construction. An exciting opportunity has become available for a partnerships professional to help lead our UK partnerships strategy.

Reporting to the Director of Recruitment and Partnerships, the Head of UK Partnerships is responsible for leading on the strategic development of the University’s UK partnership portfolio. A significant area of responsibility will be our work with the further education sector. The post holder will manage day to day operations and act as partnership relationship manager for key strategic UK partners.

An extensive track record of successful partnership management is essential for this role. You will need to have a comprehensive understanding of the FE and private providers sectors as well as the wider stakeholder environment. You will need to demonstrate excellent entrepreneurial, negotiation, team-working, motivational and cultural awareness skills, alongside a flexible approach to working in a dynamic environment.
