Salary: £35,850 - £44,220 per annum pro rata (0.5 FTE, with possibility to increase to 1.0 FTE subject to confirmation of additional funding)

The Imperial Clinical Trials Unit (ICTU) is looking for a Clinical Trials Monitor to work on multiple clinical trials in the unit. The post holder will be responsible for all clinical trial monitoring activities at the investigator sites for the complete life-cycle of the trial - initiation, enrolment and follow-up, close-out and archiving. The post holder will also oversee the progress and performance of the investigator sites, including efficient recruitment and reliable data collection, and ensure project objectives and timelines are met. The post holder will visit sites to monitor data collection and informed consent procedures.

The post-holder will focus on the NUC-B Trial in the first instance, under the guidance of the Trial Manager and Operations Manager. This NIHR EME funded trial is led by Professor Mark Thursz, a hepatologist at Imperial College London. The Monitor will focus on activities at UK sites.

You must hold a life science or science-related degree, or equivalent work experience and have previous clinical trials monitoring experience. You should be self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work well independently with minimal supervision and willing to travel to participating sites nationally.

This post is part time (17.5 hours per week) with the possibility of full time hours following confirmation of additional funding and fixed-term for 12 months. The postholder will be based at Stadium House, White City campus, London.
