About the role
We have exciting opportunities available in the College of Health and Social Care at the University of Derby. 

Mental Health nursing are looking for motivated and committed individuals who are interested in joining our forward thinking and innovative team as lecturers/senior lecturers.  Posts are available at our new campus at Chesterfield, St. Helenas.

Mental Health Nursing is a growing discipline within the College of Health and Social Care, which offers a diverse portfolio or pre and post qualifying studies for health and social care professionals to meet the needs of the workforce. The post holder will be creative and positive about contemporary Mental Health Nursing education but also be committed to taking forward our research and scholarship agenda. 

The Mental Health Nursing team is a supportive team, committed to providing high quality, accessible learning opportunities; promoting academic enquiry and the advancement of knowledge using a variety of methods of delivery. Widening participation and user and carer inclusion and involvement is embedded and an essential aspect of our philosophy, teaching and learning. 

The post holder will be an RMN with a strong clinical and educational background and a focus on delivering an excellent student experience.
