Fixed-term maternity cover up to for 12 months commencing in January 2018.

Falmouth Exeter Plus is the service delivery partner of Falmouth University (Falmouth) and the University of Exeter (UoE). We deliver shared services and facilities for UoE and Falmouth in Cornwall underpinned by close collaboration with FXU, the combined students' union for Falmouth and UoE, to ensure that the interests of students and staff are at the heart of everything that Falmouth Exeter Plus delivers.

An opportunity exists to work in an expanding and developing service based in a lovely location. This post contributes to the delivery, support, and development of a high quality academic library and information service for students and staff of Falmouth University and University of Exeter, Penryn Campus.

The Academic Liaison Librarian team offers a user-focused service to support teaching, learning, and research. You will be expected to develop and deliver lectures and workshops on information skills and digital literacy, offer advice to individual students, liaise with academic staff over collections, and contribute to the development of online research support material.

You will be a qualified librarian, with experience of teaching and a good knowledge of research resources and discovery tools within an academic environment. You will have the flexibility and confidence to support students across a wide range of subject areas.
